29th January, 2006: The beginning of Guild Wars

Today I took bus to Walmart and BestBuy. I bought stuff that I needed. Such as contact lense solution, mouse and Guild Wars (PC game). I went home with the bus. It's not too bad in terms of waiting time. The only problem was I had to walk a bit. As soon as I got home, I installed Guild Wars on my computer. It takes a while to download patch/files online. After downloading, comes to the registration of the account. I had to type in the serial number. Unfortunately, the serial number was so blurry that I couldn't tell whether an "I" or "J", "B" or "6" or "E"... It took me over 100 attempts to figure out the "I" was actually a "J". This game is very similar to the other RPG game that I used to play "Diablo". It's about fighting with weapons, casting spells, ... in a fantasy land. I played it for a while today. Found that it's quite interesting with all the weapons and skills. And most of all the environment in the fantasy land. It's so pretty. I like the character creating process. I got to choose a character's type, face, hair, armor color, body size...It's very fun. And the longer you play, the more clothes or armor you can wear. Players can customize their items with money. Just see it yourself. That's the character that I created. It's a necromaner/monk. I forgot to mention. We can choose a character and have 2 professions. So I won't have to stick with one character's skills.
