Not good, not good at all. I didn't do good as I said for my exam. There's still 3 more trial to achieve better grades. God bless me.. I'm little lazy these days. I need to pull myself together and become the ultimate Alan that I've to be. My poor cooking doesn't motivate me to do anything. I really want to eat nice, great food now. Right now!! I'm little depressed because of that. I'm weird....oh well...I'm.. I've to prepare for exams again. I'd definately do better in other subjects. Yes, I will. Nothing's really going on these days. Go to class, after that head back to my crib. I didn't turn on my TV for a few days. I'm pretty much isolated. Oh yeah. I got my MP3 player yesterday. Its sound quality is superb. There's a 5-band equalizer. Cantonese user display....lots of great stuff loaded. It's very handy to have it around. I like it.

Feeling really bad today. I prepared for the business law exam for the whole day and whole night. Finally It turned out to be not so good. I didn't know which answers to choose from in couple of questions. I'm not so confident with it overall...that's a nightmare for me T_T I'm responsible for all this. Study harder!!! I went to the Career Fair this morning after exam. There were many companies in the fair. I didn't have time to prepare for my resume. I talked with the companies that I'd like to work for. They accept resume but at the time I didn't have any. So I was thinking I should not waste any time. I should go back home and edit my resume. I returned to the career fair after printing out my resumes. I gave them my resumes. I really hope that they would interview me at least...don't know... I was talking with those people in the Hertz car rental for the positions that they have available. Well..the guy who I greet didn't explain much about the company. He saw me holding a folder, so he asked me for the resume right a way. Okay..>_< I gave it to him. And his first reply was "good in Naperville". That's my aunt's address. I wrote my aunt's address as my permanent address since I got the US residency from her. The thing is Hertz's business location is all around Chicago area. That's why the guy was so happy about that even though my resume is not as competitive as others. I'll see a year from now what I'd be. It'd be terrific if I can work in Chicago area. I feel like it's a dream...weeeeeeeeeee I didn't eat, sleep, rest or whatsoever. I can see full moon in my apartment. It's so yellow. It's pretty big. It must be closer here than in Hong Kong.

I went to eye doctor to check how the contacts react on my eyes. It's perfectly fine!!!! And I ordered the contacts that I can use for about 6 months. Today I wanted to study in the student center. I dropped by the study lounge. Guess what....it was full and it's not a good place to study. It's a place to check out people......so I thought I would go back home and study. Before I leave the student center. There's Starbucks just by the exit. Not many people were sitting in there. So I thought it would be nice to study there. So I spent my time in Starbucks for studying Business Law. I ordered my favorite Peppermint Mocha there. It tastes just like what I ordered in Chicago!!! Few hours later...here comes the surprise. Staff made extra drinks, they gave it out for FREE!!!!!!! I got a orange zest mocha. Ha...great. I would go there often to enjoy coffee and study. I got my another subject test score back today. It's a "B". I don't know if I'm doing okay that I made effort actually. Or it's just because the exam was easy. But I'm above average in the class overall. I'll see...weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

26th, Sep, 2004: Autumn comes

Yes!! It's almost October. I can feel that it's already autumn. Green grass has already turned yellow. Fallen leaves on the ground. Those are the indications for the autumn. I can't wait for the Xmas come. I can't wait for the season holidays. I still don't know what I will do for this year's Thanksgiving and Christmas. I'm not planning to go back to Hong Kong during Christmas. It's so inconvenient to go to the airport. It's not cheap to go back either. So that means I'd have to stay in the US for the long, cold and boring winter. I'd go nuts for sure. I bought a Chinese wok for cooking mouth watering dishes. I still cannot find any International or Oriental grocery store. I need real rice for cooking. Not American long grain rice.......T_T. I really want to practice making fried rice I'm afraid I'd end up playing christmas songs in my apartment by myself. T_T
