31st January, 2005: Last day of January.

Finally the last day of January approached. I read some books and prepared for classes for some decent hours. Watched TV for some hours... just like everyday. Spent plenty of time online dreaming. Also I slept for a few hours. The only productive achievement that I have for today is my dinner. It was a masterpiece. I mean I've never thought I'd have the skill to make such good scrambled eggs with shrimps. It's really good even I said it to myself tonight being the pickiest person on the entire planet. I didn't step out of my apartment except few hours ago 3:25am I went out to dump the trash. weeeeeee......

29th January, 2005: Excitiing game tonight

I found some new toys for my journal. Check it out, it's on the right column of the journal. I turned in my business writing paper today finally. Hope I'll get a good grade for a good start this semester. I lost my appetite. Probably it's just a seasonal change. I ate bread for the whole day and drank 1/10 of a gallon of milk, 2 peach iced tea. My sister is sick. Hope she'll get well soon. New song that I heard on Saturday Night live tonight. Sang by Jay-z feat. Lenny Kravitz "Guns & Roses". This song is tight. I love it. These days all the bands and artists are working studios. So not a lot of high quality music is coming out. Tonight's NBA game coast to coast, Kings @ Rockets. Yao Ming didn't play so well today. Chris Webber nailed a three pointer with his splendid spin fake over T-Mac. He tied the game at 103 and proceeded to OT. Rockets couldn't hold on to it. Kings won. My computer is currently working okay. Perhaps it's also a seasonal problem...I hate that when it happens. Long weekend began. As usual, I'm staying home. I might have time to clean up my apartment again. I just cleaned it yesterday as I remember. Why is it so messy again???

Computer continues to have problem thoughout the day. I restored the syetem back to the first day I installed XP. Same problem occurred with no reason. It's a really frustrating suitation for me. I can't use my computer for the whole day to compose a memo that I originally planned to do when I got home at 2pm today. It ruined my study plan!!! I reinstalled XP just now. Problem is not solved still. There was a blue screen message goes like this "physical memory dump to disk". I was like...hold on a second is that a virus or something??? Then I scanned my computer with the latest patch of anti-virus. It came up nothing. Nothing was detected. The system seems to be more stable now. I'm off for tonight I'll start studying early tomorrow morning. Later peeps..

23rd, January, 2005: Going back to 19th Jan

Let's go back to 19th Jan, 05. Why??? My computer has to same problem like before (system crash). I just restored the system back to Friday. See if it works or not. This is my first boring weekend. I went to my friend's birthday party on friday. It was good to meet some people at least better than staying home. The birthday cake was terrible!!! People don't make good food around here (Kroger grocery store). I start studying around 4 o'clock today which's a bit unsual for me. I usually don't read books or study until midnight. I guess that's one of my 2005's revolution. I can try few hours earlier next week. I'm looking for some new music. I keep listening to my old old old old music. So if anyone has any recommendation on some new music that I can try. Feel free to drop a line and tell me what you're listening in the message box.

21st January, 2005

First week of class is done. Some classes seem okay. Some not due to the professor/instructor's expectation and teacher style. The most important thing is to get things done. So I'll just ignore all the things that I don't like. I'll try to work with it. My schedule is not flexible at all. On mondays, tuedays and fridays. I have 3 classes. I have an hour break in between all the classes. The problem is the the last class. It's right after the lunch time. I cannot go home for lunch. Also there's only junk food in the student center. That gives me hard time for lunch. Pretty boring everyday nothing more than reading books and watching TV...

10th January, 2005

Today is my 21st birthday. I didn't do anything special. It's already special that I've my 21st birthday in Hong Kong with my family. I really hope that I'll graduate and get a job soon...soon. It's the 2nd last day before leaving home again. I feel complex. I know it's not right to stay home and do nothing everyday. On the other hand I feel like leaving but not to my small town...Furthermore it'll be a problem for me to go back to my town from Chicago. I'll need to drive a long way and weather could be very bad. I checked the weather report. On thursday the temp will begin to drop. Saturday the highest and lowest temp would be below zero...Please bless my journey would be safe and yet enjoyable maybe........Tomorrow I'll look for something that I didn't do in last few weeks.
