21st December, 2005: President Bush on Comedy Central

President Bush has been known for his southern accent, facial expression and of course his speech. I've seen many comedians imitate him on Comedy Central. But this is the best so far, or I should say the closest imitation so far. I even recorded it. I'll show it to my friends and family. I hope I could show it here. But I just don't know how... I found a pingpong store that I've never been to in Hong Kong. I saw this pair of shoes...it's gorgeous, ain't it? I'd love to have it if they have my size and the price is reasonable.

16th December, 2005: US postal service always broke their promise..

A package was received by postal service on 13th. It's shipped by priority mail (2-3 days guaranteed). Guarantee your butt now!!! It's 16th today. I was waiting for the entire day for it. It didn't arrive. I am about to drive into the post office with my car...their efficiency is so low. This is not the first time happened to me. It happened a couple time already. I've to wait for another week to arrive. I don't think they realize how important timeliness is for their customers. I am very disappointed. I switched back to penhold style once again. This time I'm just having fun. I know I ain't improving much. It doesn't really matter what grip I play now. Coach ain't helping. Nobody's teaching..just me. I like it better even though my backhand is not as natural as shakehand's. My serves and forehand attack are way better. I bought the Island DVD on wednesday after my final exam. It's a great movie. I'll share it with my family when I get home. I'm going back home soon. In about a week I'd be flying out of the states again. Dad said there's a pingpong table in our apartment building. Hahaha...that's great I could practice everyday. Plus, he said I could play with his ex-co-worker that plays every week. I guess it'd be a little pingpong and food trip for me. On the other hand, a good friend of mine in Korea will be visiting Hong Kong while I'm staying there. It'd be great to see my friend again since we didn't see each other for a little more than half year.

13th Dec, 2005: A dumb decision, but I made up my mind..

I bought back the Japanese penhold blade that I sold it during the Thanksgiving Break. I thought I'd never go back to J-pen ever again. I just feel that I have more aggresiveness when playing with Jpen. I think I should lock up my stuff something, so I won't ever go back to another grip anymore. I believe the blade and rubber will be here on friday or possibly thursday. I should love my equipment and not to sell it that easily. A lesson learned! Tomorrow is the final exam for my last class. I got 85% already out of the total. It'd be an easy A for me I guess.

7th Dec, 2005: Finally it's here!

Finally my Fender Tele is here! I replaced the pickguard. It looks just like I wanted. However, I found that the guitar's color is quite different from I thought. Well..that's the color which my Honda Accord had...What a coincidence! It sounds little noisy..but I like it. It produces different sound. Get ready, I'm about to rock your place!!! I practiced pingpong with my chinese teammate at the rec center today. We didn't intend to play..but I met him at the rec center, by the time I left. He asked if I wanted to play. Sure..why not!! I went back home to grab my stuff and practice with him for a while. It's nice that I get a chance to play with someone during the week. I didn't eat at all today. I think I messed up my bio-clock last night while i was cramming...

3rd Dec, 2005: Confused and lost...

I waited for my guitar to arrive this morning from 9:30 until 11:35...guess what. I didn't see any Fedex truck come by. So I waited for nothing. A friend of mine from Mount Carmel came by with a bunch of Korean. It's pretty weird to have strangers around. But it's okay. We had lunch and walked around the campus. After that I went to pingpong practice as usual. I played terrible today. When I say terrible, I'm saying missing 5-6 serves in a game, loop every ball out of the table (way off..). Part of it is because I am not practicing during the week like I used to. Well well well...I always got excuse. Why shouldn't I just say, I suck..today is one of those days when I don't want to play anymore after seeing myself got beaten up. I've no complaint at all, as my skill level is not above any of the players that I played with. When I came back, I can't believe I took my penhold blade out and thought about using it again. This time I won't. I'll stick with what I got and be satisfied with it. I'll just pay less attention to it. Lately, I've been pulled myself too much into pingpong and expected too much from myself. I better learn from my mistakes everytime I play. I believe if I can make less mistakes each time. I would improve quicker...I really missed the practices that my ex-coaches gave me. I can't get any of those practice anywhere. I heard a romantic love song in VH1. It's "Ordinary People" by John Legend. I listened to it over and over again. I like the melody of that song. It's so pure with just piano and vocal. I'm in love with it.
