26th July, 2005
After more than 2 months of body training. Not sure if I'm stronger. But I think that I'm still skinny. I guess I cannot change the fact... I'm still looking for a nice ping pong blade. Good thing is I earned some money by selling off some of my old DVDs and games. That means I could have a higher budget. My boss is sick. She's infected with virus...not sure what virus that is. But it shouldn't be good. Hope she gets well and dedicate more work for me to do. I tried the new Kellogg's special K fruit & yogurt cereal. It tastes really good. Can't wait to have another bowl!

25th July, 2005: Hot Hot and hot just hot...
This kind of hot day don't make me want to go out. Anyone go out under the sun without any shade, you'd sweat more than workout at the gym. Today the temperature is 95 which is 34 c. Weather report says it feels like 105 which is 42 c. It's just not good. Whenever I get in my car it's burning hot. I'd sweat within 30 seconds. A little walk to work everyday would make me sweat even more.
Just ordered a new Nittaku Moristo2000 rubber. It's a newer version of Moristo which is faster. There are pretty good comments on this rubber. It must be spinny for sure. People said the sponge is a bit too hard for them. Well, that's what I'm looking for. I don't want to have a piece of marshmallow on my blade. I'm looking forward to use it and improve my game.

4th July, 2005: Independence Day
Yasaka Gatien Extra 3D
Forehand rubber
Backhand rubber
What are those stuff? Good stuff. Ping Pong stuff. My TSP ping pong blade is hurting my hand. Probably because of its small straight handle. I really thought that I had my Stiga blade back at home. So I decided to get a more common and comfortable blade. What I'm getting is a quite decent one with a relatively cheap cheap cheap price. My future forehand rubber is DHS G666. A powerful and tacky rubber. I expect its tackiness would meet what I could get from Globe 999. What I'm using the Globe 999 is tacky but it is way to slow. It takes up so much power and strength whenever I loop or drive. I expect this G666 would give me more speed and save my power on my each of my attack. I'll see how it plays out. For my backhand rubber, it is the mighty 729 RITC rubber with European (German) sponge. Back in those days when I was practicing, I used 729 RITC all the time. I know its characteristics. It's definitely a great choice on rubber itself. However, for my backhand, I always feel that I lack of power and speed. So I was thinking how I could solve this problem if I still want to retain and use the 729 RITC rubber. Click!!! I saw this version of package with sponge from Germany. I could immediately tell that there's a guarantee on speed and power. That's what I 've expecting so far. All the rubbers that I've chosen are Chinese made. That means for certain degree I could maintain my topspin loop and close-table attack style. I trust my motherland and I support them especially the prices are so reasonable. I can't wait to try them. I'm expecting to receive them sometime next week. Today is the Independence Day. What did I do? Well...I did practice ping pong with my coach exclusively since nobody else showed up. It was a great practice I feel a lot more comfortable with my backhand and the rubber. Hopefully, I could improve some more sooner.
